FLATTENING SERVICES MUST BE ADDED TO A PVF BY MAIL ORDER. Unfortunately, we can not flatten records unless they are cleaned first. Please make sure you select one of our PVF by Mail cleaning packages before adding our flattening add-on service.

Perfect Vinyl Forever can safely flatten your warped records. Our record flattening machines will remove dish warps and most edge warps, making your favorite records playable again. If your records are not playable after our de-warping service, we will refund the flattening fee. Records must be cleaned before flattened to ensure contaminants are not embedded into the record during the flattening process.

Add the quantity of record to be flattened and be sure to indicate with a Post-It note which records should be flattened.

Warped records happen for many reasons. Improper storage (remove your shrink wrap to avoid warping records), exposure to heat, mishandling at the pressing plant and many other factors lead to records being less than flat. Playing warped records can distort the sound, increase inner groove noise and cause skips and other unpleasant sonic artifacts.

Perfect Vinyl Forever utilizes a four hour flattening cycle in $2000 record flattening machines. This will fix nearly all dish warps and most edge warps. Your records will play true and be free from inaccurate sonic artifacts such as pitch and speed variances and channel imbalance problems.
